Silent Night only needs three chords: C, F and G. Start with one note for each, then add a second note when you're ready.
Your left hand uses the same numbers as your right. Thumb is 1, pinky is 5. On the left hand your pinky sits on the left.
Home spot: pinky on the C below Middle C. Your thumb lands on G.
Each red letter shows where your left hand plays. Play it on the word underneath, then hold it until the next letter.
Press Play along. You get three clicks to get ready.
On your sheet, many left-hand notes have a curved line joining them to the same note in the next bar. That curve is called a tie.
A tie means play the note once, then keep holding it. Don't play the second one.
Each of these notes lasts three beats. Tied together, that's six beats from one press. Count 1, 2, 3 for the first bar and 1, 2, 3 again for the second, with your finger still down.
